hey guys & gals,
can someone tell me please if the rear spring shackle, when under load sits paralell with the chasis or drops down at an angle.
mine is sitting at an angle but just dosen't look right, car is sitting a bit high in the bum.  In a manual ive got it seems to be sitting parallel but towards the rear of the shackle eye?
ive tried to reposition the shackle but it doesn't seem to want to go anywhere Huh

any pics would be super
cheers

from memory mine sat with a bit of a angle, the eye on the spring eye sat above the eye from the body, if the spring eye is below you should be able to jack the car up from the body and stick a lever in from the back between the two eyes and lever the spring forward and above the eye on the body, maybe if you post a pic we could see if its right.

Hey Dean
I should have added that if you want to read wot's written under the pic then e-mail the pic to yourself and blow it up with Windows picture and fax viewer. If your eyes are anything like mine than you will need to.
