Although we are well past July, the SA club held it's 50th Anniversary run today.  Got good publicity for it during the week - a segment on ABC local radio included an interview with Ken Mclean and a call from Don Loffler.

Then 2 articles in Adelaide's Saturday morning paper, The Advertiser

Run began at The old GM-H factory site at Woodville.  There was a whole lot of spectators as well as 8 FEs and 14 FCs and Channel 10 reporter.

Channel 10's Peter Sellen sets up for a shoot.  We got about 1.5 minutes on  Ch 10 news Sunday evening.  Did it go interstate? (Our Ch 10 news comes from Sydney on Sundays)

We had an interesting collection of cars including several non-club members.  One drove about 250km to take part.

Then a good run through the city to the Birdwood National Motor Museum.  Perfect day as the pics show:

Ken McLean gave an excellent presentation and kept the masses enthralled with some great stories and pictures.  Our grateful thanks to Ken for his willingness to come to Adelaide and talk to us.

A great day and a good tribute to the FE.

And here's one for Alex

It was a very good day, thanks for the pictures martin.

PS my only gripe was that non club members got more recognition than club members.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

No other pics of the wagon, Alex.  A bit of a roughy - plenty of white (red) ants through it.  Non-member showed up out of the blue, so don't know much about it. Warm 186 is all I know about it.
