How long since you've seen an FC on the boat ramp?

I took Jim to Ceduna for the long week-end in October - 780km west of Adelaide.  I leave my boat there at a mate's place and go fishing there 4 or 5 times a year.

This certainly raised some comments around town: "Oh! So you're the dickhead who's been putting his boat in with an FC!!"

Sat on 60 m.p.h. on the trip and got about 28.5 mpg, and didn't burn a drop of oil.

The reason I took Jim on this trip was because the Western Districts Vintage Car Club was celebrating its 30th birthday.

About 50 cars were in the parade and on show during the Oysterfest carnival on Saturday, with a dinner that night.  Then on Sunday we went to Streaky Bay, 110km.  Cars were on display again, with a presentation dinner at the Streaky Bay hotel that night.  Back to Ceduna on Monday, back to fishing on Tuesaday.

I didn't take many pics of the other cars, but here are a few of interest:

Hey Martin.
Some cool pics.
The car looks good with the boat in tow.
That Model A is beautiful, wish it were mine.
Regards
Alex
