This ute was built by Andrew of Streetneat Panels Rod & Custom as the shop ute.

Apparently some 1600 hours went into the rebuild and $15K in new and NOS parts were utilised. Full details of the build can be found on Streetneats web site:

http://gallery.oldholden.com/Streetneat/FCute

At the time of purchase earlier this year, Andrew completely repainted the ute.

Subsequent to delivery I have fitted NOS front door rubbers (not Rare's ones, genuine brand new Holden rubbers with the flap that sits under the guards and the proper shape around the cowl junction), a sports steering wheel and boss kit (to clear my knees - a perfect original wheel can be supplied and fitted if required) and a FC front bumper bar centre in lieu of the FE one.

Apart from a comprehensive body rebuild, Andrew has upgraded the mechanicals to full HR specification including a warm 186 "S" spec motor with a lumpy XUI style cam and HR front and rear brakes. The transmission is a Toyota 5 speed which has been neatly fitted with a notched bench seat. The car is exceptionally tight on the road and is great fun to drive.

The vehicle has countless other inclusions and details including a glove box mounted CD player, retractable seat belts, fleck coated cargo area, tow bar, large capacity stainless steel fuel tank, heavy duty suspension etc etc.

It has approximately 6 months NSW registration. The plates EDS-059 are not transferable. It also has a QLD "Blue Plate" fitted and the corresponding engineer's certificate.

The price is $25,000. I am reluctantly selling the car as I am moving from my current storage premises at the end of the year and consolidating my vehicle collection accordingly.

I can be contacted on 0408 200 299 or by PM.

Regards, Edward

Thanks Edward.

Andrew (and for others interested) the ute continues its journey around Australia and will be spending some quality time out west - in sunny Perth Cool

Thanks for that Tim and Ed.
Its a parental thing - you like to know where your creations end up. If you have any questions Tim and if there is anything I can  assist with  please don't hesitate to  contact me.
Now  if you want to keep the collection complete - we  are now selling the FC sedan  that was its mate- These two cars were built as tribute cars to the Neighbors as you are now  well aware no doubt.
Cheers Streetneat -Andrew.

With the current delays in transport over to the west, I might have to take you up on that Stinky!!

The 08 Nats might also give me time to finish the wagon project. That would mean I'd have to leave the sedan at home .... choices, choices ... Shocked

All the best
Tim
