Hi All,

For sale here is our 1958 FC Special sedan. Baby has come along and put a dent in our restoration budget. Wink

We've done a whole lot of work to her, although she still needs a few things done.
All the info you'll need can be found by clicking this link:
http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?Cr=1&R=8866974&keywords=&trecs=6&__sid=12574A88558B&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&__Qpb=true&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&seot=1&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294965857%204294957238&silo=1011

She's housed at Willunga, South Australia. Pictures below.

We're asking $8000 and are willing to negotiate on this.

Please contact Lawrie on 0402 679 127 or quikdrawlau@internode.on.net if you are interested.
Thanks for looking!

Hi there,

The Body ID is: FC225 - 16125 - A.

Don't have the rest of the paint codes on me or a pic of the ID plate but can probably get this in a couple of days time (it's stored at a relative's property).
And thanks for the compliment!

I had a look at the car last weekend and collected the numbers:

ID              FC225-16125-A
TRIM          300-847 RIFF RED & BLACK
PAINT         256-7770 INDIA IVORY
INSERT       253-6258 BLACK

ENGINE       603630
CHASSIS     FC15973-A

There has been a lot of work put into this car and it is close to completion. It is actually a September 59 from the engine number but has now been painted as a 58 which I think looks good. The underside has been stripped and painted as has the engine bay. There are just a couple of pieces that need to be painted and some of the interior has not been repainted. As Lawrie says most of the hard work has been done just a few bits to tidy up.

The sticker says "I'd rather push my Ford than drive a Holden". I agree, I'd rather they pushed their Ford than drive MY Holdens!
