Technical Board / General Technical / Front end location spacers
|
on: April 09, 2011, 11:51:47 AM
|
Hi all, Can anyone please make available the dimensions for the front end location spacers? I need the dimensions for both the 3A5 Upper control arm location spacer and 3A6 Lower control arm location spacer as shown on page 77, section 3-23 in the shop manual. Just the clamp width will probably do. Thanks all

General / General Board / Re: Ute Head Lining

Too easy really. Fill the 'B' pillar above the belt line with foam rubber. Its a tight gap in the pillar to get through and access is by removing the side panels in the ute tub, but believe me it worked.

General / General Board / Ute Head Lining
|

Hi all, I don't post often but keep an eye on the forum. I've recently finished restoring my FE ute as a stable mate for my FE sedan. I have a interesting question. The ute has a new headlining to go with all the other new trim etc. Anyway, everything looks great and the new upholstery looks terrific but.....when I'm driving along at speed (for a grey motor) at 50MPH or more the headlining balloons down significantl between the bows when I open a quarter vent or a window. The faster I go the more the headlining balloons. Does anybody have an explanation for this? And more importantly, a solution? The ute also has a sunvisor, I don't know if this influences anything but...?. Thanks all Theo

I know that this has been discussed before but.... My FE ute paint code is 256-7466, Levant Green. I haven't been able to track down a paint formula for this but have come across references to Hialeah Green being the same? Can someone please straighten me out; and where can I get the formula for Levant Green in acrylic? While I'm at it; where can I get vynil for the upholstery, 175-559 Lagoon Green? Thanks all Theo

Can anyone tell me where you can get rust repair sections for FE/FC front mudguards? I require the piece for the bottom rear of a RH front guard. Rarespares don't do it anymore. Thanks all.
