Hey John, Good to see another wagon on the road. It looks good. Just read about your motor and the choice to keep the grey motor, we have decided to put a 186 in ours, its not original, but should be better at towing the van. Impala

Thanks everyone for the great comments, very much appreciated. We do actually still have the original black and white plates, but at the time of registering it [it was on club reg when we got it] we were told by Vic Roads that we could use those plates, but when we got there, we were told we had to pay $400 for the privelege. But we will keep the plates, and maybe someday put them back on the car. With regard to the colour, the previous owner insisted that it was cream, although we thought it was a very pale lemon, does anyone know what the actual colour is. Impala

Just thought I might be able to get one from a motor that was no good. Have any ideas what other options I might have with this motor I might also put in a wanted ad, and see how I go. Impala

Yes, the crank and mounting flange all came with it. But, the original vacuum one has two holes in the crank plate, and the electric only has one hole in the crank plate, how does this adapt

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help me with the changeover of vacuum to electric wipers. I have purchased an FB-EK Delco electric wiper motor, but am unable to work out how it fits and works on the FC. Do I need more parts to get it working ?? Any and all help will be much appreciated. Impala

Hi All, would anyone know why my dash lights would not be working, checked the globes, they are good, would it have anything to do with the headlight switch?? Thanks Impala

Hi guys, thanks for your reply, I have an FC Station Sedan, it is two tone, has two tone seats, and blinkers, but does not say that it is a special anywhere, no badges etc. Although, it has no heater or radio, were these included or optional? Impala

Hi All, I am new to old Holdens, always had hot rods and classics. So, my question is what is the actual difference between a Special and the others. Thanks Impala
