Title: Warneford twin carby manifold - wanted Post by: soops on February 28, 2015, 06:19:11 AM Trying to source a grey motor Warneford twin carby manifold with a "hot box". I have one without, if anyone wants to sell/swap it would be appreciated.

If so I have a Klinning twin that I no longer need as I now have triples with the connecting rods between the carbies $100 plus postage.
Jim Title: Re: Warneford twin carby manifold - wanted Post by: collecta on March 01, 2015, 03:04:09 PM He would mean that the inlet manifold bolts to the hot box of the original grey exhaust manifold.
Title: Re: Warneford twin carby manifold - wanted Post by: soops on March 02, 2015, 06:07:40 PM That's right, the inlet manifold bolting to the hot box of the original manifold. Sounds like 'fcwrangler' has a marinised manifold?
Title: Re: Warneford twin carby manifold - wanted Post by: Harv on March 02, 2015, 06:23:53 PM Sounds like 'fcwrangler' has a marinised manifold? ... or a red motor genuine twin carb manifold off an X2. Title: Re: Warneford twin carby manifold - wanted Post by: fcwrangler on March 02, 2015, 07:30:47 PM Sorry guys, but you are both wrong!!. I have taken some shots of the manifold too show what I am talking about.
As I said, the water jacket runs along the outside of the manifold from front to back. By the sound of it, this may be something out of the ordinary, as this is the first time I have seen it on any grey manifold. It would not have been for the linkage rod, as it is to far away from the carby bases to be connected. Cheers, Harv Title: Re: Warneford twin carby manifold - wanted Post by: sooops on March 03, 2015, 08:07:18 AM Thanks for the photos Jim. I've never seen one like that before, but it's not what I'm after. I've got a photo but I'm new to this and I don't know how to attach it.
