Trying to source a grey motor Warneford twin carby manifold with a "hot box". I have one without, if anyone wants to sell/swap it would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the water jacket on the end of the manifold running from front to back? If so I have a Klinning twin that I no longer need as I now have triples with the connecting rods between the carbies $100 plus postage.

He would mean that the inlet manifold bolts to the hot box of the original grey exhaust manifold.

That's right, the inlet manifold bolting to the hot box of the original manifold. Sounds like 'fcwrangler' has a marinised manifold?

Sorry guys, but you are both wrong!!. I have taken some shots of the manifold too show what I am talking about.
As I said, the water jacket runs along the outside of the manifold from front to back.

The first shot shows a small pile of rust that came out of the jacket after I pocked a rod through.
By the sound of it, this may be something out of the ordinary, as this is the first time I have seen it on any grey manifold. It would not have been for the linkage rod, as it is to far away from the carby bases to be connected.

Thanks for the photos Jim. I've never seen one like that before, but it's not what I'm after. I've got a photo but I'm new to this and I don't know how to attach it.

"personal message", when you log in you see home help search profile my messages etc. You should have  a number in brackets (1) at the end of my messages, click on that and it will open up the messages you have in the file.
