That's one FAST red motor. I calculate that at about 400-420HP at the flywheel - serious, serious power from a red six unless it has a crossflow head and many other mods. Must be silly gas, any specs? Cheers, A VERY interested Craig.

yes the car was on ebay a while back but it was just a joke by a couple of mates to scare me. hi Craig its actually a blue motor with red head but yes it does have silly gas but not that much, other than that its pretty tame look out for my brothers car coming back on the road soon its same paint scheme but a lite green instead it has same engine combo but a much bigger cam and triple stromberg carbs should be good for low eleven sec pass.

Hey Old59,
I'd guess a 150HP NOX kit on a 220HP or so six.
Good stuff, like it LOTS. Must be lots fo fun to drive. Funny, or different, to put a red head on a blue motor. Usually the other way around.
I have a 208 with a 149 big port head, 11-1 compression, triple 45mm Webers, roller rockers, custom grind cam. You gotta love the NOISE these things make :-)
Cheers,
Craig.

Here's a deal - I'll tell you how to do the picture thing if you tell me about your engine Fair swap I say!!! My engine if just bore, no offset grind. I'd looked at 235 stroking with a 221 crank, but stayed away because of power vs torque. I want both, but would rather settle for power with good torque. I'm expecting a mid to low 13 in my XU1, similar weight to your FC. Cheers, Craig PS: I still LOVE my 149 three speed FC, 1/4 time over 20 seconds. 149CI, 20/60 cam, standard carb. COOL.
