Gday all,
I have a HR front end in my FE sedan, with HZ discs and calipers.  When on full lock the caliper hits the front end. Is this normal?  Also there is not much of a turning circle.  Has anyone else been down this road, and can maybe give me some advice.  any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Grind away the lip on the edge of the crossmember around the spring tower, where the caliper hits both back and front.
This may need to be tidied up with a weld.
Verticle edge of top wishbone needs to be re-shaped inwards for clearance on full bump. (big hammer!)
The shorter the steering arms you use will give more lock, but increase load.
Remove the original bump stops and fabricate ones to suit your steering arms and clearance on full bump and droop.
It's all probably easier done with the springs out.
