just found this great bit of video is on tomorro night and repeated on Friday the 3rd march also,on ABC.

Motor racing at Bathurst's Mount Panorama circuit began in 1938, and over the years Easter and October races have always been a drawcard for rev-heads. Join them for the 1959 and 1960 Bathurst 100. This is it here.  It's a series called "Late Night Legends".

Unfortunately it's on ABC2, which means Digital TV or set-top box required.  It's not on the regular ABC service.

that would be right,lol.
i certainly dont have a dig Tv or set top box,
if there is anyone who does i would gladly pay for a copy on dvd.if someone has a burner that records off the tv.
