Hi,

I will be attempting a red 6 - celica 5sp conversion in the near future and would like advice on clutch components.

If anybody is running this combination (I know a few users are) could they please share their set up details.

Here is what I have so far:
Box and bellhousing
tailshaft
clutch fork and spigot bush

For $206 I can buy:
Heavy duty clutch and pressure plate plus throwout bearing

Still need advice on:
- speedo cable (was quoted $77)
- slave cylinder - is this toyota or holden?
- slave cylinder adjuster rod
- slave cylinder bracket
- flexible hose from slave to master

Anything esle I have missed?

Cheers
Dave

Dave,

Might be a good idea to talk with Dellow, you find them if you search with Google, they all the gear you will need. The entire converstion kit for my Celica steel case 5 speed came from them. Its attached to a 186 (192) I have heaps of pics if you are interested. Let me know by PM.

I was running a red motor & toyota 4 speed in my wagon many years & if I remember correctly it was a FC slave cylinder, adjuster rod & hose. The bracket was Dellow made one & as for the speedo cable I think you can get them from CRS shop for around $50 to $60
