I wonder if Trax will pay a commission for starting this thread and rounding up more orders?
Its a thought.

The Trax website is now saying the gold FE will be available in April.  It had previously said March.  Damn, I want one and I want it now.

You have seen the gold '48, I trust?  Given how long it took for Trax to sell out of those, I must admit I'm a little surprised to see the style resurface.  Still, for all I know they might sell out in five minutes and be going for $200 on Ebay by May...

cheers

Ret and all,
There is a production hold on these at
the moment,as there were problem's
with the manufacturer. Some type of fault
with them, due in mid april - as the man
from trax said to me he was surprised
how quick they are selling himself. Then
again an fx ain't an fe,can't wait for the fc
version.

hmmm,
now that i've checked carefully there is
pinhead mark's(lump's/blister's) near the left tailight, look's like the gold has'nt mealted
properly in the plating process.or casting was
a bit rough before plating other than that
it look's really good.i'll stick with them it's not
as if i paid 5k for the gold job. :-/

We bought two as well. One was good, the other had a blemish in the finish above the rh front guard spear.
Sent it back, got another one with a small fault at trailing edge of rh front guard (near the sill panel). They must be recycling the dodgy ones- musical Gold FE's anyone?

that is the good thing about trax, i've never had a problem if i sent a car back they always send a replacement, i've only sent back 2 cars in 6 years of collecting trax models,

interesting to see the gold fe's are already appearing on ebay Smiley
