well well well

after a lot of mucking around, questioning and more questioning today we had the motor running:D:D:D

we all still have smiles on our faces. a mate from 2 blocks away heard the sound and went for a walk to find out where the hell it was coming from, anyway he rocked up knocking on the rollerdoor with a smile on his face, trying to work out what on earth it was.

i think after all of the mucking around and sratching of heads, it was definately worth hearing it run for the very fist time since its rebuild.

i mean hey it may not idle under 4000rpm, it may suck up the fuel, it may stall whenever it feels but hey, its our motor and we built it and i think thats a prettty good achievement Cheesy:D

anyway i will take some pics tomorrow during the day hopefully to show ya's how it came up

a special thanks to ken mclean for the stand, and also a thanks to fellow forum members who have helped out

ps RET sorry if its in the wrong section, i didnt know whether to put it here or in rants raves and dummy spits

tests have proven that the final words before a fatal urban car crash are "OH ****"

in a rural car crash they are " Hold my stubby and watch this for skill!"

Well done Darcy, what cam specs did you end up settling for?  Can you post the complete engine specs for us please?
