Hey Torque. Looks like it has a few surprises under the surface. The left 1/4 looks very repairable, just a few dings. (What's under the paint though) Would be more work to replace it. The join on the top of the right 1/4 is a factory join, though it should not have the bog on the inside curve. Where is that brazing? Can't tell from the pics. As for the rear panel, FC's have been known to rust there, so may not be accident damage. The middle of the rust where the braze is, is a factory join, so you would need the panels either side. A fair bit of rust in this panel, not usual. Strip the paint off the whole shell for a better look. Regards Alex

Hey Darcy,
Looks like you're embarking on a bit of a journey.
I think the body looks quite OK from the pics.
as Alex said the LH quarter does look repairable.
Regarding the dog leg (wheel arch). Unless it is hideously rusted and all but disappeared, I would try to leave it intact and repair it. From the factory they are quite wavy and loaded with lead.
Cutting out the double skin is a right pain and aligning it is another story!
best of luck, keep us posted on the progress.
Cheers
Ed

Looks like a lot of hard work ahead. Heaps of potential... looking forward to the updates!
Would you be able to post a list of your projects and whats going on with each one of them? I get confused between supercharged big blocks, hot greys and a few EKs that all seem to live at your place!
Good Luck Dave
