Ebay Item 4557812288" FC holden Spec Sed Suited for Restoration or Parts"....Relisted
What happened?
I for one was very interested but the bidding passed my budget. There was a winner but now I find it relisted.
I have asked the seller a question about relisting as of yet I havent received a reply. In fairness I only asked the question yesterday......
Also,
As our FC has EJ hubcaps I have been looking for 4 FC hubcaps. It has taken me 12 months so far to secure 2, good ones but havent they cost me a small fortune.
Cheers

Received reply from seller and he stated he had a reserve of $1000, strange as a reserve was not shown on the original listing......HuhHuhHuh??

The problem is buyers(and sellers too) don't read rules, terms and conditions or any of that "other" junk.

A popular misconception it seems, is that when you bid on a car you are bidding for the right to look at the car before deciding to buy it. Happened to me when selling my Galaxie and from some of the descriptions I have seen, it has happened to a few others.

The seller may have had a reserve, but either was too tight to pay for ebay to put the reserve on or he doesn't really know what he is doing on ebay.

Yes, but no reserve was shown & and as the bidding was on the way at no time did the " reserve not met " come into play. I phoned the gentelman as the bidding was in play and I was informed by him that he isnt accepting less then a $1000.
Did the succesfull bidder pull out?
or
Has the seller relisted?
I didn,t bid on it but there is an injustice somewhere here.   .....Thats Life...... Roll Eyes
MMMmmm Maybe this should be in "Raves Rants etc"

Hope he managed to get it under cover as it has been snowing in Parkes (yes that's right snowing - even though they haven't had rain in years)
