can any one please help me on how i would take the ignition switch out of the dash when its in the locked positon and dont have a key for it

Basically after you have undone the retaining ring you have to force it over the lock. This may damage the plastic escutheon.

yes kens right, also the other question is do you want the barrel out or the whole lot, if you want the barrel our so you can put one you have the key for in all you have to do is stick a very fim piece of wire into the little hole and jiggle it

all you can do is wind the nut off as far as you can go then put a pair of multi grips on it, as long as you have another nut this will be fine
