Unusual that they used a picture of the Standard Sedan, especially when promoting the 'ultimate in motoring'.  I guess they were angling more towards the economical.  Bit of a contrast in advertising to the drawings in which all the people must be about 4 feet 6 inches tall when they are standing beside the Holdens. Wink

An interesting add, as Shayne said they usually lead with the special in adverts. Could be they were aiming it at the rural/ farmer end of the market as Perth metro area in 57 would have been small and thus a reduced selling area for the more upmarket and exspensive Special. Maybe they had found that FJ Standards were popular with the Guy on the land so they continued with the FE.
