The vic club auction is on again on the 27th of June
over 150 items of early Holden NOS parts, accessories, memorabilia and other interesting stuff.
The list is on the Vic web site which can be found at Download the latest list.
Bidding can be conducted through myself by sending me a pm stating the item number, the description and the amount you wish to bid.
Please raise any questions here if unsure as this will help all readers.

Thanks Richard, yes all details are on the Vic website.  It's not a big website - so it's pretty easy to find

The final list has now been posted and there are quite a few really good FE and FC bits to be auctioned.
A parcel shelf and a glove box light are 2 that spring to mind.
Absentee bidding is very easy and requires no money up front.  All it requires is your honesty to follow through with the purchase if you do happen to win an item.

Hope to hear from you soon

How does the auction work, Ken?  Are the items donated & all money goes to FE/FC Club of Vic, or are items sold on commission from private owners?
List contains some excellent items!  Would love to travel down for a sticky beak.

The Auction is primarily a fund raiser for our club as well as a source for our members etc to find that little or big must have for there Early Holden. The club takes a set commission from all items listed and charges a nominal entry to get in. The event even with the massive interest in Ebay still manages to attract good items and enthuisiastic response from those that attend on the day or bid absentee. We again are hoping for a great day and we look forward to continued interest from forum members

The Vic club holds this auction every year. From what I have been told is a great source for many and varied items for classic holdens.

I was going to place a few bids last year, but was absent minded and forgot about it untill the day.

The list of items is mind boggerling. You name it they will have it.

They are a great bunch of blokes and ladies down there in Victoria and club/forum members from all over the country bid and win items.

I would be bidding this year if they had a NOS FC in the list. I need a car by November so I can drive to the nationals and get the full effect of the atmospher.

Happy bidding.

Cheers Jim

The exact process is as follows
Contact me and let me know the max amount you would pay for a particular item or items
I or another of the committee will bid on your behalf to win the item
Note that we may win the item for much less than your maximum bid if you are lucky
Once the auction is over I will contact you in order to arrange payment & postage

As you can see we rely on honesty on the bidders behalf to pay for what they have promised to buy.
On our side of the ledger, I guarantee honesty and confidentiality (if required) in order to win the item on your behalf for the lowest possible amount.

I have posted the selling prices for all the items in the auction on our web site.
Some prices
Nasco oil filter complete - $35
NOS oil pump gear set - $35
Double pack of genuine Holden playing cards - $55
FE/FC day night mirror - $80
FE/EK scratch plates - $155
Nasco accellerator pedal cover - $30
FE Airchief radio & speaker - $75
FE/FC glovebox light - $35

I was a little surprised at how few interstaters had a bid (only 6 did).  So I am posting the prices that things went for to show just how easy it was to get a bargain!

Nearly all those that did bid won at least one item.

Hope to see more interest next year or we will keep all the Nasco goodies here in Victoria again next year! Cheesy
