In Sydney.......a shell and subframe and that's it. No wheels, doors or anything. Excellent donor shell for a rusty wagon - a small section of the front floor needs replacing. The tank area is excellent. I have to get it out of my friend's garage this weekend and I can't get it to Melbourne so if you want it let me know or it gets the the big chopperooney!! Cat

ED, I sold this shell to CAT some time ago and can vouch for its usability... Its far to good to chop,or I would have chopped it up myself. and worth the effort to pickup. Even if it means chucking a front crossmember and rear end in to get rolling..... ..... Just my 2 cents worth. Good wagon shells are getting harder and harder to find, Just ask RUSTY.

I remember this shell as well and agree 100% with Slim, this is definately worth saving. It also had some minor rust on the passenger side "A" pillar - on the windscreen upright from memory, but still a very worthwhile shell.
Cheers,
Craig.

Thanks guys, however I'm not after a shell for restoration, just bits and pieces for my sedan, such as the cowl area.
Sounds like this one is too good to cut up for that purpose.

Ed's I will be in it as I could do with some spare bit for my wagon. It seems a shame to cut it up but if nobody wants it for a resto & Cat's got to get rid of it than its better to go for spares than to go to scrap metal. Glenn

Well I'm in for a chop as well as I need a LHF inner sill for my wagon down here. I was thinking of coming up this weekend and spending saturday with slim and a couple of grinders if no-one wanted the shell. I'm happy to make it a group event if you're all interested!
Oh, and yes Harko I'll bring that bumperette this time!!!!

Hey guys, the car is actually at my friends place in Camden. I'll call him to check if 45 grinders are welcome. Otherwise I can trailer it to slims but that an extra $50 for a trailer for me I was hoping to do it on Saturday so I can go on the garage crawl on Sunday....what say you?

If one of you gents needs choppy bits off this shell , Perhaps one of you can help cat do the chop on Satday.,,, At Camden , No point dragging a Shell from Camden to my joint just to cut it up... ...... And an oxy would make things much easier and quicker than my Grinder , Which Im terrified of !!!!.....

hmm..
that would be too tempting to keep it, transfer all my gear into the better shell, and let my shell go for parts... not mentioning having to rework most of my gear to fit up.... hey, this is sounding good!.. not.
If it can be towed to Dural from Camden then I guess it would be OK, but the shell would probably not be allowed to stay (as it's my folks place - and ive already overstayed my welcome... hmm).
So it could be towed there and chopped to bits, and the carcass fed to the scrappers. (not that there would be much left Id imagine).
Cheers
Ed
