G'day Surferboy

It's a good time to ask about the weather, as it's this time next year that we hope to see you all in the Snowies.  It's been pretty sunny, but sometimes cool and windy with temps roughly 15-20...

The next few days have showers forecast.  Will know more after my trip to Thredbo for downhill mountain bike race next week.  Should be great as water + dirt = mud = fun

Do WA folk own jumpers?  If not, buy one to bring along next year...  that goes for Qld'ers too!  Smiley

Cheers, Tim.

25 DEGREES ! Shocked
i think i'll need to wear my wetsuit to keep warm.

I WANT SNOW ! ! ! I WANT SNOW ! ! !

Cathy just said she's looking forward to a hot, roaring log fire in a ski lodge, cuddling up together on a large leather lounge, sharing mugs of hot cocoa & toasting marshmallows.
(She appears to have some strange expectation that this might be a romantic weekend - I just love her optimism )

Hmmmm, John I think if we get that much rain we'll have to christen our FE/FC arks "Titanic", because I'm sure that they'd sink, with their reputation for leaking water!! Grin

Cheers,

Graham.

Wink Grin Cool Pleeeaaassssee Surferboy is your woman for real?!@&!*  Romantic weekend - you have to be kidding.  Only a few us women really enjoy these NATS because it means CARS, CARS, CARS AND MORE CARS!!
AND........meeting all the friends we have made over the years, having a drink and a good chinwag.

PS: How's your club going - we have only received one newsletter so far and found your emblem and newsletter excellent!!!   Hope to meet up with you in Canberra.  Cheers Kathleen (HOTLIPS)

Here here!  Who wants romance anyway?  Cars are much more fun, and they don't whinge or talk back.....Having said that I've today discovered that not only does TC stand for The Car, Travelling Circus, Top Chick and Top Car, but it also stands for Total Cow!  If that stupid fuel leak doesn't sort itself out soon I'm going to get at it with a large blunt object.  Of course you do all realise that THIS means WAR!

We've reached a compromise.
Cathy will.... put up with a 6 day drive across the nullabor in the wagon , 4 days of insesent inncec enses insc..nonstop chatter about car stuff & freezing cold mornings.
Surferboy will.....pay for the week in a 5star sydney hotel.

Only because you want to work on your car again Leon, you should seriously look at hiring out your services to the drought stricken areas  Grin

Hows the weather in PERTH

        BEAUTIFUL

Its cooling down a bit. After 6 months of mid to high 30*C with NO rain and bright blue skies.
woke up this morning to see clouds in the sky and its just reached 30*C at 1.00pm.
A beautiful day for cruising around with your arm hanging out of the open window of your FC (or FE) as you listen to Jerry Lee Lewis blasting out of the stereo at 110 decibels  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin
or sitting around catching up with old mates   Smiley  Cheesy  Grin
