Hi.I am writting in regards to the right combination(cam, head, carby, etc.)for a 186 that i am building.I have a blower off a Toyota 4 cylinder jap import (the same set up that 'Castlemain rod shop' have put together for the holden six cylinder) and i am not sure on the right cam and head mods that are needed to get max output from the blower i have. Any imformation i get will be much apreciated.I have seen this same set up on FC's and other early holdens in various performance magazines and thought someone could shed some light on the matter or someone that has tried this set up before, may know a bit about it. thank you.

Sounds good already, Red 6 + Blower  Grin

Contact Waggot Engineering with regards to the cam, tell 'em what you are doing with the motor, and be honest, they have been making cams for Holden 6's since Adam was a boy.

You shouldn't have to go to crazy with the head, as the air is being "pushed" in rather than sucked in. You will need to be careful about your comp ratio and what fuel you intend to use.

thanks stinky for your imput.

Its still in its early stages so im sure i will be calling on you guys for more info down the track on various other tech advice.

IT will be going into a HR (but huge fan of the FC's and FE's) that i have just had fully sandblasted inside and out.

I have fully blasted 2 HR's so if any one is interested in one blasted and  zinc coated give us a hoy.

A blower is a supercharger, a mechanically driven item.
A turbo is driven by the exhaust gas.

Hi Ben, I saw an article in the latest Zoom magazine on a Blown 202, it gives all the details except cam. It `s mag no 79.  They say it punches out 367 Kw`s. Great  ;)numbers for a red motor. Wink
