Jim,

I went out with a friend of mine who was very interested in buying the ute however the $20000.00 the guy wanted was over the top.

Its a very nice car though, I went for a drive in it and it drives beautifully, the paint/body is about 8.5 out of 10, engineering seems very well done, all chrome is extremely good, very slight rust (small matchhead size bubbles) in outer sills and above drivers side door handle. Interior is clean and well presented. Lots of new parts including a HUGE radiator and disc rotors.

For $13000.00 my mate would have owned it weeks ago. If you are keen on a V8 FC Ute I would hurry up, the first serious buyer to look at this car WILL buy it at that price.

Cheers,

Craig.

Guys
I would love a V8 ute. Are you lot trying to convince me to buy?

I was talking about having a "look" at the drag car not buying.

I am realy after a really nice, very original 58 Special sedan or wagon.

I will just plod along working on my current car and keep an eye out for a daily driver.

Had a look at the Evanston car, absolute bargain. Just needs putting back together, paint has a chip here and there but otherwise a complete car that needs a week two to get it on the road.
If it's still there on Tuesday it's mine.

The ute came up in conversation at Tuesdays Club Meeting, and I know of a member who talked about going to the yard on Wed to see if he could do a deal involving his WB Statesman......I wonder if we may be seeing it soon.
Regards
