It is a while since Summernats now but this chopped FC really impressed me. The owner didn't seem to be around so I didn't find out much about it. Anyone know who it belongs to (maybe it's yours) and anything about it.

This is my first attempt to post a photo here so bear with me. If it works there are some more Summernats photos that might be interesting. Maybe even one of my EJ (not from Summernats- it was only in the carpark outside).

back of car. This one doesn't seem to have worked. Can't understand why. Did the same thing as for the last two.

Here's the photo you tried to post.

This car has been around for a little while, it used to be gold and attended our last Nats in QLD. The car is really something, heaps of customizing and of a high quality.

Cheers,

Craig.

Hi guys
This car was in Street Machine Mag (november 2003 issue).  The owner is from Queensland and his name is Andrew Clatworthy.

Check out the article it is pretty cool

Oh dear Seems I cant hide on  the web.... Yep Thats my FC coupe... It was driven to Canberra and (second time) from Brisbane.... Glad to see everyone likes it... The things hanging from the mirror are our lepoards testicles .... (You did ask )... The centre console is early sixties Chev... Model unknown... Good to see it has fooled some into thinking its a four speed... count the pedals... The cars name is 'MISS LEAD'... appropriatly named as it miss leads most to its true identity. If viewers here know their FC holdens they can see the car is not as modified as first thought.. Its still mostly FC with a few stray cuts of VW blended in but the car uses Fc parts - just relocated somewhat... This car has  ben on the road since 2001 and is never trailered.. Runs 202 and trimatic on LPG... Air bags in the rear get it on the deck and this car is fully street legal ....Feel free to ask more questions... I am the proprieter of Streetneat panels rod and custom (07  3206 0340 /0412 032 239) in Brisbane and I have a large stock of fe- ek cars on hand for wrecking... Cheers streetneat heres a pic of the FC shop ute as well

Just to throw you right off course this is the very car that the FC coupe started as... Restoration went a bit wrong.....  Actually there is not much of this car that remains  today.. a bit like the original axe ... four new heads and three new handles..... Streetneat Roll Eyes
