Being an aftermarket piece, it was more than likely pitched at Holden motorists wanting to glamorise their car.  This ebay buyer/seller has other holden bits for sale, and has tended to tell the truth in the past.

There was 3 of these listed in the Vic club Auction list this year.  One was for FE-FC, one for FB-EK, and I think one for EH or HR.

I can vaguely remember my uncle having one on his red HD mid seventies.

my brother had one in the late 70's on EK so i think they were made for holdens

Not genuine Holden but certainly a period aftermarket item. You will find that the box is stamped "Holden FE FC". If I had the money I would bid. these don't come around often.
