I’m looking for the timing cover oil seal for my grey motor , the GMH part no is 7426199 . Described as Timing case seal dual lip . I don’t have one to take down to the shop for comparison. Maybe someone knows of a more up to date I’d no I can present to them . Cheers

Available at local Bearing and Seal outlet .bought mine North Shore Bearings at Hornsby off the shelf ..double lipped ,don't forget to pack between the lips with high melt point grease ,reason being the inner lip does its job ,the outer one is dry and will burn ( scorch maybe ) helps to prolong life ,don't forget to centre seal on crank before tightening the cover.

John,

I'm in Perth a.t.m., and I'll probably turn up to the FE-FC club meet on Tuesday.  I'm carrying a timing case oil seal with me, just in case you can't get one.

2.125" OD, 1.4375" ID, 0.375" deep, if I remember right (?)

Remember: if your Holden's not leaking oil, it doesn't have any.
