wanting 2 FC boot springs for the car I purchased yesterday. It has gas struts at present.

I saw a comment on Facebook a while back that a window crank spring from a HQ-HZ was a suitable replacement. Haven't tried it myself, but would be very interested to know if it's true, and if so, you'd have to imagine they'd be reasonably easy to obtain.

Fitted RET's boot spring pin yesterday ,all seems good ,haven't put lid on yet ,its at paint shop,should be good though.
