Big sigh of relief......

Tracking the wagon on CEVAs website
seemed to be on the slow train for a few days

Checked it again this morning

Estimated Delivery Date  20/03/2018
Location Status               Arrived At SYDNEY DEPOT 23/03/2018

Vehicle 1
GMH58FC  HOLDEN FC

 Grin Grin Grin
The wagon is closer to the Nats than Cathy and I
Our (MY) Grand Plan is to have breakfast in Perth early Tuesday morning,  have lunch in Sydney and have Dinner in Canberra

 Cool Cool Cool

SB has withdrawal  symptoms. he hasn't  been able to drive the wagon for a couple of weeks.
he is meant to be tidying the garden before we leave. but i just found him in the shed.

DAY 4
( or Day 1 proper for the Nats)
Friday ìs registration day where everybody gets to catch up with their  mates that they  haven't  seen  for 2 years. ( i just need a better memory so i can  put  the  right  names  to the  right  faces )

and we get to pick up our goodie bags full of stuff ( and important  information  apparently 😊)

for the early birds there is the optional  lunch & cruise around town. GREAT cruise seeing lots of tourist spots and views over Canberra.
Cruised up ( & down) a big hill

they must have known there was a lot of Grey motored Holdens coming

lovely lunch by the lake, looking across to parliament  house. And the usual photo opportunity for a Nats carpark shot

Back to Nats HQ for some more chin wagging  ( or a nanna nap) before heading out for posh dinner

It's FISH & CHIPS night 😃😃😃

Got to go now
its time to wash & polish the wagon fo tommorows Show & Shine

DAY 8
Going home diary starts today.
Hope you all enjoyed the Nats weekend as much as we did.
Got to sleep in this morning 😊 before a lazy breakfast. A few last goodbyes before we hit the road.
Heading east towards the beach 😃

love being out on the road. one minute it's  wide open roads and paddocks, then the winding roads through thick bush

then sometimes its ...

lovely drive to Batemans bay for lunch

they have a bridge that must be important because  it is  on the souvenir  hat badge i just bought.

it moves 😊
heres a still photo of the bridge moving

we then cruised Northwards  up the coast.

This seemed  an appropriate  place for us to stop for the night

Goodnight everyone
off to Woòollloonngongg (?) tommorow
