Hi does anyone have the 257mm valve stems.

Grey motor pushrod investigations

Wayne,

I just got another set of pushrods last week, but only four of them are 257 mm long.  But I pulled apart a couple of EJ motors 35 years ago and never threw anything out.  It shouldn't be too much trouble to find twelve matching ones.

That said, you can never be too careful.

How would you feel about pulling your cam followers out and making sure they're the late FB to EJ type?
Double-check the total height of cam follower and pushrod: it should be 264 mm from base of follower to top of pushrod, with the pushrod seated inside the follower.
