I am contemplating buying in a roll of the light green "swirly" headlining from SMS in the USA.
From previous experience, this will be an exercise in patience as it may take up to a year to get the roll here.
SMS always want money up front and there is a risk to me that the material won't sell so I am looking for people who are after the material and are prepared to pay a deposit and possibly wait a long time before delivery. If there are enough interested to sell at least half the roll when it lands I will go ahead.

Please respond below or via PM if you are interested.

Hi Stinky,

You really have caught my attention with this post. I have been looking for a light green headlining for my sedan for awhile in the wanted section and also one full length light green headlining for my panel van.
Any idea on the cost for both made up including sun visors if you are still trimming? I am seriously interested and ok with the time frame and to pay a decent deposit. Thanks

Regards Mick

Thanks Mick, I am waiting on updated pricing as it has been a couple of years since I purchased a roll. The last time I did them a Sedan was $300 and a Station Sedan $350.

UPDATE :

It will be around $60-70 per metre depending on freight.
At this stage I would only be selling as material (in 0.5m units) as my templates have yet to be returned, but that may change.
Lengths needed to make a rooflining :
FE/FC Sedan - 3m
FE/FC Station Sedan - 3.5m
FE/FC Panelvan - 1.5m
FE/FC Ute - 2.5m

So far there is only 4 people interested, I need 6-8 orders to make it worth my while.
Cheers

hi stinky

The light green swirly headlining is that the original pattern and color that came out
  in most cars
my wagon had it before l removed it a while ago can't remember if it was green or not
l know it had a swirly pattern   did it only come out in the green ?
l assume they made it a light color as not darken the interior aswell

can you put me down for one  for a station sedan

      thanks greg    (fcwagoon)

This will be the pastel green that came out, a faithful reproduction of the swirly pattern.
Not as popular as the off-white it would seem, but I struggled to sell that until a guy snaffled the last 6 metres for his Chev, the light blue I bought in sold quite quickly.

I now have enough people to confidently place an order should everyone honour their requests.
I will be in touch shortly with details, in the mean time I am now looking for people after the off-white lining as there have been quite a few requests.

Never say never! (2) (Off-White FE/FC roof lining material)

I would be interested in 2.5 + meters if still available...
do you have a link for colour and swirly design. im a noobie here, but trying to gather bits and pieces. My doors looked like they had a "brick/basket" pattern on it..

I believe so, unfortunately I sent my master samples (some borrowed) to SMS and they have ignored all my requests to have them returned.
When I get a chance I'll have another look in the workshop to see I can find some green rooflining for comparison.
