Hi all,
is there a right and a left rear chrome fin , or are they the same ?

Yes, it has a L or a R underneath and different part numbers of course.
There are also two different rear fins. The one for the late 59 car has a small cut out where the stainless stripe slides in.

From an old post, photos of the two tail fins described by Ken.
I ended up with one of each style for my late '59 car without knowing there was a difference. But, the tail fin extension fitted over the plain end without much effort & it looks OK.
Using a late '59 style fin on an earlier car without the extension could be noticeable though.

Thanks for the information, there's great knowledge out there. One fin I have is numbered 7410975  LH7 and the other is 7410974  RH7.  It looks like I have a  pair.
