Chuck,ED,Johnra and Gree - you need to get this magazine, and as chuck said to me its raised the bar for early Holdens and is definitely an inspiration for myself and many others.  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Nice one Craig... stop it, you're giving me ideas!

How about removing the raised strip behind the rear wheel and putting 55 - 57 ( i think) Chevy style rear wheel arch which kind of tear drops down.

Putting twin exhausts exiting out through the bumper bar under the tailight

Hi GUys,

Sorry for the late reply, I've been away at an advanced skills motorcycle riders course.. (lots of fun!!).

Has the club ever looked into doing an advanced drivers course for members?

that FC is looking good Craig... I wish it were so easy.

Harko,  Thanks for the kind words, but sometimes the time comes to just paint the thing....  this of course presents a dilemma too..such as which colour scheme?,
should I paint for future anticipated mods?,
Is matt black hot in summer?,
flames, or scallops?
maroon  hmmm, black hmmmm,
2K or acrylic?

Hi Ed,

Glad you liked the Photoshop stuff.

I have done a couple of these Advanced driving courses, both of them with Ian Luff at Oran Park. One was in brand new company cars, Toyota Camry's, and the other was in my Torana with the "Torana Owners Club".

The courses are a great day out, and you learn plenty. I reckon it's a good idea, something we will definately bring up at our next club meeting. Imagine the screeching of Leon Spicers beautiful FE Standard's  right front Crossply as he aggresively attacks Turn 1 at the Oran Park long circuit. What a sight!!

Cheers,

Craig.

ED I think I tried to talk you out of Matt Black once before.

I know ,it looks so good Cool
When I was geting around in my ute it was almost unbearably hot especially in traffic.
Running a standard grey, Louvres, and quarter windows open, and ofcourse physically reduced cabin space which did have carpet for a bit of insulation.
I didnt have the front pan under the radiator installed and I think this along with louvres may have disrupted the factory designed airflow which normaly exits through the radiator to under the car but none the less you could still cook breaky on the bonnet.
Also even 2k Matt black when scratched cant be matched so eventualy will look pretty how you going ,
Just facts for you and Im sure there are downfalls with other paints too but I though it would benefit to give you my 2c worth, Cheers and see you at the All Holden Day
