I reckon its been used in a Ram Raid, they needed the strength of an FC, and escaped  in something else. Probably a PANELVAN .

Not sure if Paul will be back, let's hope so, as he has years of experience and a ton of info he could share.

Anyways, here is the limited bit of info he sent me along with the photos:

"This FC was in the wrecking yard next to my shop.
161 three speed disc front end.
Was a super clean car with what looked like a new interior
As the photos show it was a big hit"

I know someone very close to me who had the exact same accident happen to her whilst driving a XM Falcon coupe, Different car I know but same seating ie Low back buckets.
Her head knocked backward over the seat then her body launched upward knocking her head into the roof.
Trust me the person driving the FC is probably seriously injured maybe for life if still with us at all, Shame to lose another classic too      (loudly) 'SLIM'

Now lets not go here again!!!!
Everyone has there own opinion on what should and shouln't get wrecked and we will all never agree, so lets just leave it right there.
I'm not taking sides or offering an opinion and I don't want anyone else to either !!!
