Hi all. What have you done when the car is stripped and you are blasting it, do you remove the dash skeleton, if so what's the best way or is it just easier to leave it in. Its on the rotisserie and I'm mainly concerned that it is keeping the front rigid.

I left it in in my EK and the blasters got up under it and blasted as much as they could, didnt like the idea of removing it

Well JB removed his then dragged it forward a few inches to fit the aircon etc etc

I did this after the car had been blasted though, so the more the better for blasting I think.

Ok. Cos I got the both of them, fe and fc, I will keep the fc
one in but because I'm customising the fe I'll take it out. What's the easiest method of removal. I did think of cutting it somewhere and narrowing the whole thing and incorporating 2 air ducts in somehow that are completely disguised   Huh But I'm not sure whether to wait and do it when I'm ready to trial fit the new column to rack steering. But just getting ideas at this stage.
