Click and paste is your friend.. Grin
grey motor or parts of and gearbox and steering collum

Postby Mick » Sun Jul 07, 2013 5:12 pm
pulled the grey out of the FB standard i have it is locked up but does not look bad in the cylinders no serious rust, i would say just stuck from not being turned over for the last 20 odd years i believe it's an FC engine with engine No L420877 i assume it is standard bore size as the only marking i can see on the pistons is what i assume is a holden part No 7406474, the engine is being sold as needing reconditioning

i have the head off the engine which looks to be in good condition with the rocker gear and push rods it had the old copper head gasket still on it, also being sold as needing reconditioning (may be ok as is)

gearbox no clue of condition so also to suit reconditioning

also have the radiator which looks to be in reasonable condition it's the more honey comb looking core than the typical looking radiator core and has a NASCO tag on it (the radiator looks useable with a clean no guarantees about this though)

the engine was complete so will sell any of the parts off it

steering collum is i'de assume fairly rare, it's a 3 speed manual collum but has NO allowances for blinkers (blank where blinker stalk would be)

i'm open to reasonable offers on any of the above and make no mistake this stuff is getting harder to find and it WILL be going to scrap sooner rather than later, i have no room to store it till you need one, i'm in woodstock which is near cowra and travel to sydney fairly regularly so don't mind bringing it down
