Just type "commodore tank" in the Search for box, plenty of results come up  Wink

Fred

Look at Brett's Injected FC as it has a photo of the tank installed.

I considered fitting one but it leaves no room for the exhaust to come through other than through the rear springs.

Thanks

Hey Freddy,

VN 80 litre tank. To fit, made a frame to weld in and sit the tank from on top. Others have used original straps to mount from underneath.
I had the top modified to take 115 litres, but was pricey and no spare wheel well anymore.
I can't run the exhaust past it either... But wasn't going to anyway.
Had to modify it also for the VT fuel pump and swirl pot, so not a quick fit.
For the van I had am alloy one made to fit the original hole, just larger. I think around 70 litres.
Cheers

Sorry mate, I made it.

I drew the dimensions and the shape that I wanted and then cut it out of alloy. Then took it to a guy who welded it up for me.

Drawings long gone for the van I am sorry.

Fred

I have some home made drawnig for a tank I had made up.

I redid the whole boot floor to suit the new tank and allow enough space down each side for the exhaust as oreviouos noted.

I think I still have the drawing on at home on file.

Thanks
