hi restoring late fc and fitting up rear doors and realise i have nothing to limit door when fully opened.

















hi,am restoring fc and fitting rear doors and realise i have nothing to limit or stop the door when fully open .Is this part available or is there a modification i can do,any assistance would be appreciated thanks Gary

Do you mean to stop it closing by itself? If so, there are springs in the door that keep it open. These break over time. Someone on the forum sells replacement ones but the doors need to be removed to fit them. I can't remember whom it is, but hopefully someone will pick up on your post. If not try nascohunter, he either sells them or at least knows who does.

Rear doors need the flat bar restraint that goes into the pillar  springs are on the front doors.

you will see the steel cover on the pillar.

thanks for answers ,i have nothing in the way of these parts including no plug in pillar also spring clips on front hinges also gone ,i will do some hunting ,thanks
