hi all , this is my first post, can I start by saying what a truly amazing forum , the amount of info is overwhelming , any way ..has anyone ever heard of getting the old paint codes into a spray can for very small touch up jobs ? I have asked a few shops around Brisbane and none of the suppliers paint code records seem to go back to the late 50s , is there a colour code up date tool ? to bring the old codes into today's colour numbers ? any help appreciated , thanks Ric  Huh

cheers , I did see that previous post , but was unsure how to match between my 256-2102 Hialeah Green and those links , is there any other chart that brings this code to a modern equivalent you now of ?

My mate has a really old computer with windows 95 we got Indian ivory and volcanic grey from memory.
Ppg were able to cross reference and get a batch of paint for me as well

excuse my ignorance .. is Ppg a paint manufacturer or is Ppg like paint on windows 95 , sorry ?

They are a paint supplier.

I had the local paint shop colour match me some paint for a spray can. Then you will have a formula.

Depens which state you are in - Eastern Auto Piants in Melbourne can mix up virtually all of the old codes in new paint.
