I am looking for a heater switch and rheostat combination for Nasco Warmside heater.

Have you tried Ebay? There is a guy there that appears to make them.

 Alternatively Keith,

look for an old Mazda 626 or 929.. can't remember which model... it has a dimmer switch for the dash lights.. a big chunky rheostat with a ceramic heat sink... perfect and most likely free and can mount through any drilled bracket you could think of.

a walk through a wrecking yard should turn one up pretty quickly and cheap.
