The Vic club has received a couple of door handles to approve - pics are below

They have been shown at the Vic club meeting and one will be available at the next NSW club meeting for members to see. Get along for a look.

The FE bonnet emblems are due about Christmas time - price around $70 for club members. The handles will be $120 a pair for club members.

Had a chance to look at the new handle last night at the NSW Club meeting, they are a great looking unit I would think that for the price why would anyone want to get their old ones rechromed!!!! Fantastic job to all concerned.

How is the supply of these door handles going. Also the bonnet emblem. Please let me know as It's not long 'til i put my new door cards in and it would be good timing to replace door handles before then. I am a memeber of Toowoomba FX FJ club....does that count ??  Cheers Moe`t   FE wagon

I have spoken to Rare Spares and the floods in Thailand have caused a major delay in everything coming out of the region. Infrastructure has been severely damaged and 3 to 4 month delays seem to be the norm for small manufacturing concerns. It seems that the door handles will be in the next container load at the end of February and bonnet emblems maybe after that.

Thanks for the update Ken. Will certainly look at door handles as the old ones look like a bad case of acne. Cheers Moe`t

Theyare supposed to be inthe Feb container - it takes a while to ship and clear customs. The suppliers are never really accurate about what is and isnt in the container. Rare Spares sometimes only find out what is in the container when they open it.

Ken rolled up to our tent at the Nationals and showed us the handles.

Awesome reproductions looked and felt great

Better than trying to find a pair and getting them chromed

My 2 cents
