I had UC calipers on my FE with HR front end and CRS dropped spindles. I used matching UC rotors.
The calipers did foul on the crossmember. After a little grinding on the top wishbone, all was good and I was really happy with the brakes.

hi all,

It has been a while, so I thought I would write an update.

Since moving to Sydney, the project has taken a lot longer than I would have liked.
Logistically it became very hard to keep momentum and then it didn't help that the guy doing my panel beating could no longer work on the car due to other commitments.
We tried another repair shop, but there was no plan and I ended up getting frustrated paying $$ with no end in sight.
So we pulled the pin and the car has been in storage for the last 6 months.

Thanks to some recommendations from members here, I have now moved the body to Brett @ Concours & Custom Restorations and looking forward to getting the body finished and seeing some paint on it.

We have progressed at little:
- we fitted the trans and engine and did a trial fit, so we could make up a cross brace to hold the rear of the trans.
- I rebuilt the steering column (EK) all new bearings, bushes etc.
- pull apart the HR Front end and got it all powder coated

I still after some panels, which I posted in PARTS WANTED.
Rear boot panel and boot extension panels wanted. TAKE 2

If anyone could help, that would be great.

Stash

*Note - This is my second attempt writing this. I just wrote an update here and wouldn't let me publish and then lost the lot!!
