I am looking at doing some minor rust removal on an FC, does anyone know of any good tips on best ways of rust removal on bottom of doors and bottom of mud guards. Is there any good products to apply to remove rust, and then help keeping the cancer at bay? Any help would be great.

The only way to remove rust and stop it from returning is to cut it out & weld in new steel.

Try a product sold by dulux. Its called "feronite" you apply with a brush or spray bottle after you have wet down the rust area with water. The feronite follows the moister through the rust and converts it back to a black metal.
you can then grind / sand the area and paint over. this will keep the rust progressing or returning. Fully recomend this product....used it myself after being refered and was pleasantly suprised. cost approx $ 12.00 per 250mls
