Home sheetmetal folder plans

A long time ago I made a sheetmetal folder from plans in a Magazine, both are long gone and I was wondering if anyone out there might have some plans they could forward to me or pics of their own home made folders.

Check out ebay, they're not too dear.
Should be able to find a local tool shop with them.

I just had a look at the metal folder and come up with an idea of using the same idea but instead of using angle on the top section and having to have bolts along its length to clamp it down what about using the cutting edge off a grader blade which is high tensile and wont flex which means you would probably only have to bolt it either end.

This isn't a home made bender, I bought it through work, as an "item for disposal". Cost me a fortune $20.00. It will bend sheet metal up to 48ins in length, and is such a simple design. It is also sectionised along its length (see pics). It locks down using the handles on either end so nothing moves. You wouldn't want to drop it on your toe 'cause it takes 2 people (or 1 retired soldier) to move it.

this is my home made bender.. I have since reinforced the angle with 25 x 25 SHS because it was flexing.  cost about $25 an just used some scraps.. It isnt pretty but it sure works well.





used it to make lots of panels and sections for the current project.
