Hey Craig
Print it out and send it in express post in the morning.
If they have not reached the 200 mark, they may still take your money.
Or, give 'em a call in the morning and try your luck.

Only a few more days till this event - and the weather looks like its going to be kind. Can't wait.

Alex, did you enter the new '6 Banger' class instead of the Aussie Muscle group?

I think Leon is going to be there as well. Another thing to look forward to is seeing and hearing his blown red 6 powered FC wagon.

I know its not a picture of my FC but here's my XU1 on the track. Thanks heaps to Alex (customfc) for the images.

A video of my last run of the day which was against another genuine XU1 (but an LJ). Thought you red motor lovers would like it.

LJ XU1 had a couple of seconds head start and I f*cked up the launch with too many revs and spun the wheels. Win to him past the line but he broke out by doing his best time of the day- so points to me.

Me about 7 grand in third gear Roll Eyes

The owner Mark told me it was Phantom Metallic Mark II - only 6 or 8 made in this colour. He's had it since 1987 and it has the original engine (JP prefix) fitted. It ran a best of 16.4 seconds over the 1/4.

My car doesn't have the original engine so its an easy decision to rev the ring out of it.

Grin That's the exact purpose Harry Forth designed them for, not to sit in sheds or be parked at car shows.

Hey Mark, 14.2 @ 96mph. Same time as I did with the old engine.

It feels heaps stronger though so I believe its the slow 60 foot times (2.1) that are contributing to this. Diff ratio at 3.55 really isn't short enough. Needs a 3.9 or most other guys going faster are running taller tyres (slicks) and ratios over 4:1.

A guy I know in NZ that has run a 12.9 N/A with a 202 bottom end, 12 port head, pump fuel, street tyres and 45mm Webers so I've got some improvements to find  Tongue
