I wonder if anyone knows what can cause this? The blinkers work fine when the car is in Neutral, 1st, 3rd and Reverse, but in 2nd Gear the blinker stops to flash. Is there something about the linkage position in 2nd that is causing this?

thanks

Andy

My sedan which has an HR column had a habit of sounding the horn on some turns  Roll Eyes not all the time and not always the same conditions. I'd suggest some damaged wiring in the column.

Hi Andy
I had some issues with my blinkers and horn approx 4 years ago,  occasionally the blinkers would go on the blink for no good reason, and then the horn would go off occasionally when I turned hard left.

It turned out that the wires in the column had rubbed through and would short out occasionally hence the problem. I replaced the wiring put a couple of connectors in the horn wiring for easy access, horn problem reappeared at the last nationals so I have disconnected it and now use the universal internationally recognised silent horn to display my frustration.

Cheers Jim
