It never ceases to amaze me what some of the NOS parts are worth, or what others will pay for them. I suppose that as they are not making any more of them, they are worth what people are willing to pay.

According to the article it sounds like they fitted to the bumpers or wherever you felt like mounting them Paul, all you had to do was drill two holes.

Not that i have seen many, the ones I have seen have all been mounted to the dash or glove box lid. I have heard of them mounted on the C-pillar. I think they were more popular on the earlier models.
