I have seen heaps of different variations of these covers most made from aluminium and polished if you know someone with a lathe they can make a set to your own design or the same as a set you liked .off another car .......FC427.....

Hey Sharyn
If memory serves me correctly, this guy used to make the covers in stainless steel years ago.
Sam  (03) 5822 1379.
Worth a phone call.
You could get a metal merchant to cut some stainless or aluminium into discs and glue them on.

Mine were made by Tony Hegyesi (winner of Street class grand champion) He was selling them through the Vic club for a while. Send me a pm and I will give you his number.

If you don't want to be real fussy welsh plugs work well you just have to get them chromed but if you have to get anything else done then you just slip them in or you can paint them the same colour as the engine bay

Have a look at this business.
http://www.elettra.com.au/spinnings/new_page_1.htm
Look under endcaps.
Part No B133-080 looks like it will fit over.

I own a sheetmetal business and can probably do them in mirror or grained finish for you

will see what tube i have tommorow i have to make a set for mine i can chamfer top edge on the lathe as well.
Just wondering but
I can make them a snug fit but what happens when you want to get them back out the hole.
I was thinking of putting a button head bolt drilled and tapped in the top and if they had to ever come out i could screw a grease nipple in and hydraulic them back out Huh
will measure up tommorow if i get time.
