FE/FC sedans and wagons # LH 7411557 #RH 7411558

FB/EK sedans and wagons # LH 7412789  #RH 7412790

FE/FC, FB/EK utes and vans  #LH 7411769  #RH 7411768

So would depend how different they were if they could be modified or not.

I have a set of John's wonderful reproductions here in Adelaide if you want to check them for yourself first.

Cheers Stewy   Cool

G'day John,

I've been wondering whether these would fit an FB/EK too. I'm in the process of screwing together an EK wagon, and would like to give them a go. I'll take some pictures to show if they work or not.

Can you please PM me some bank details and I'll transfer some cash.

Cheers,
Harv

Thanks Stewy for the kind offer. I will take you up on it when I get back from Melbourne next week.

I seem to have thrown the cat amongst the pigeons here. Don't mind stimulating a bit of debate now and then. My supposition that they would fit FB EK commercials is based on their lower rear quarters being pretty well identical to the FE FC ones. This doesn't apply to the sedans and wagons of course with their definitive chrome fins so good luck with that one Harv.

Thanks for the info John and I will let you know once I get back and check with Stewy. Interesting that the part numbers are different and a good point but not really surprising.

Cheers all
Clay

On an FB EK sedan or wagon - doesn't the rubber clip into the bottom of the tail light body?
I think the reason for the part number change between FE FC sedan/wagon and ute/van is because of a slightly different shape where it negotiates the bumper bar bracket.
From memory the ute and van rubber is a little shorter than the sedan wagon one.

Hi Ken, thanks for your comments, yes I believe the ute & Van are a little shorter & some members have trimmed them down, I believe the pinch mounting is the same. The FB/EK Sedan is different.

Yep, the mounting for EK is different, so expecting a bit of fit-and-fiddle on this one. Looks like a good product to start with though. I'll take some photos as I go.

Cheers,
