Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows the length of the tailshaft needed for red motor/trimatic combo into fe. I have heard that lc or lj torana ones fit but what length are they from uni centre to uni centre or uni centre to end of yolk. My engine and trans are not in yet and I have 3 holden tailshafts here of differing lengths and hoping one is right.
cheers jason

Jason

Did you want to try the one I have as I will be sourcing a modified tailshaft for my rebuild.

I believe it was from an Torana

Mate this looks like I am trying to offer all the old bits from my rebuild.

Anyway if I assist in any way just PM me.

Cheers

Craig

Your tailshaft would be perfect Craig as it is the same modification, what sort of money were you wanting for it.

Jason

Not sure on price but come down home one day and have a look at what is on the floor of my shed and give me some offers.

You can also have a look at the FC outrigger mounted on the HR Front end.
